PLC X MP Little Leaders Coloring Book

Long before a child leads a team, builds a business, or changes a community, someone helps them believe they have something valuable to offer. That belief can begin in a classroom, through an encouraging conversation, or at a table with a box of crayons and someone who cares enough to sit beside them.

That is the heart behind the new Major Prep Little Leaders Coloring Book. And Premier Learning Center has become the first daycare to order copies for its students and staff, helping us bring that vision into the hands of the children it was created to reach.

This milestone means so much because of the person behind it: Jess, a leader whose love for her students and community deserves to be celebrated.

When Jess chose to bring Little Leaders into Premier Learning Center, she invested in an opportunity for children to create, ask questions, and begin seeing themselves as capable young people. She also gave her staff another way to connect with the children they serve. That decision reflects a beautiful kind of leadership: recognizing something meaningful and taking action to make it available to others.

For daycares and elementary classrooms, a coloring book can become the starting point for much more than an art activity. Choosing colors gives children room to make decisions and express themselves. Working on a page offers opportunities to practice patience, concentration, and control of a crayon. Sharing supplies creates moments to practice kindness, cooperation, and taking turns. There is value in the process, even when the finished page looks nothing like an adult expected.

With a caring educator beside them, those moments can open conversations about leadership. What does it mean to help a friend? How do we respond when something feels difficult? What can we do to prepare for tomorrow? Children do not need to wait until they are older to explore those questions. They can begin with small, everyday choices.

Little Leaders gives educators a creative way to introduce the Major Prep belief that Preparation Breeds Greatness. In a young child’s world, preparation can mean gathering supplies, listening to directions, trying again, or asking for help. Greatness can begin with the courage to say, “Let me try.”

Jess understands the importance of showing up during those early years. Her love for her students and community gives this first order its deepest meaning. Behind every book is a child who deserves encouragement and an educator with another opportunity to offer it.

Jess, we hope you pause long enough to receive the appreciation you so freely give to others. The care you bring to your work matters. So does your willingness to support a new idea because you see what it could offer your students. Your leadership reaches beyond a purchase. It lives in the example you set when you choose to invest in children and the people helping them grow.

Years from now, a child may not remember every activity they completed. They may remember the feeling of being encouraged, the pride of finishing something, or the adult who made them feel that their ideas mattered. Those are meaningful gifts to give a young person.

Thank you for helping create space for those moments. Thank you for loving your students, supporting your staff, and serving your community with intention. And thank you to Premier Learning Center for being the first daycare to welcome Major Prep Little Leaders into your learning community.

To our daycare directors, elementary educators, and community partners: we invite you to bring Little Leaders to your students, too. Contact Major Prep to inquire about classroom and bulk orders.

Every child deserves someone who sees possibility in them. Jess, thank you for being that someone.
